Portosole: The Port

Right in the heart of the town of flowers, Portosole Sanremo is one of the largest and most prestigious tourist ports in the whole Mediterranean; it represents a regular base for several mega yachts both privately-owned and used in the luxury charter business.

Managed by Portosole Cnis Spa, the facility includes a variety of shops and businesses which attract many boat owners for their efficiency and convenience; these are: two important shipyards, a boat repair workshop, a brokerage centre, a few nautical agencies, a ship chandler, a selection of qualified outlets for on-board electronics and boat upholstery as well as a dedicated laundry service specifically devised for boats.

Inside Portosole customers can also benefit from a boat wash service, two bars and a restaurant-pizzeria with panoramic terrace. The construction of a luxury five-star hotel and a shopping mall with a variety of shops, ranging from fashion boutiques to food outlets, is also under way.

Portosole also houses the Istituto Tethys, an association committed to studying cetaceans in the Mediterranean.
Lastly, giving high prestige to the tourist port there is also a professional weather forecast centre, the only one in the whole Riviera.
